Creative Flow with Angelica Hay
Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: Brand Library Recital Hall
This session of Art Interactive features interdisciplinary artist, Angelica Hay. With a background in science, art and music, Angelica brings a grounded approach to supporting creativity and curiosity. Offering practical techniques for accessing and sustaining a creative flow state, Angelica will address obstacles many people face: anxiety, decision paralysis, screen fatigue, and the loss of joy in making. The workshop includes guided breathing practice, a live performance demo, and discussion about creative process.
About the Artist:
Angelica Hay is a Los Angeles-based artist, musician, certified breathwork facilitator and Ayurvedic health instructor. Through years of working across visual art, hardware-based music production, and somatic practices, Angelica has developed deep expertise in accessing and sustaining flow states. She combines her understanding of breathwork's physiological effects with hands-on creative practice as the founder of Breath/Work LA. Her approach emphasizes beginner's mind and the power of tactile, immediate feedback, whether through paint, synthesizers, or breath itself.
